The following is an E-mail I sent to several involved parties. I am currently disabled and unable to work for over 10 months.
Hi All, This e-mail is to advise that my PIP claim has been declined. Their reason given: I do not meet their criteria.
This leaves me in a position, as some of you already know, where I have £0.00 pcm for Food and Household Essentials.
Conclusion: I am in no condition to work but, I am also unable to access funding necessary at this time to Live.
The letter has been handed to my care company to mediate between myself and my social worker and the DWP.
I’m hoping to appeal my case and am considering what legal action I can take as I feel that the assessment is inaccurate or falsified. As several ppl included in this e-mail, are aware that I have been in no state to lead in any way a normal life for approximately 10 months including the day I was assessed.
As a law abiding UK citizen, do I really need witnesses every time I meet with Government Appointed Officials?
Kind Regards,
Matt Close
