Anti-Establishment

A friend of mine said to me the other day that my recent FB posts have become anti-establishment... having had some time to think about it (in between spasms and fits) I thought... "what is your interpretation of anti-establishment?"
What I am against is unfair treatment of animals and other human beings.
I am also against people being segregated and ostracised just because they're "different".
But, above all... I'm against a system that calls itself a democracy
Is it a democracy that people are overlooked or forced into positions where they are forced to claim benefits? commit crime to support themselves and their families? be persecuted simply because they come from another faith or country?
I suppose if that's how you interpret "anti-establishment" then yes I am
but, I support our healthcare system, our police force, our armed forces and especially the charitable works of others. I may well be supporting them by signing petitions online and from the comfort of my own home but, support is support in whatever form it comes.
7 months ago I was working full time as a contractor for WCC. Since that time I have been at the mercy of the NHS because of a health problem.which, I personally feel could of been resolved a lot quicker than it has been so that the time spent helping me could be spent helping others in more need however, such is the system we live in.
We the people enable the government to dictate our lives and control the wealth distribution (£42 Billion on a train that no-one needs Vs. £42 Billion invested in schools, healthcare and social services)..
We are paying more NI, IT, CT and VAT and yet, year on year, EVERY service WE NEED receives HUGE CUTBACKS.
At the rate we're going, we could see the return of ration books... well... maybe that's a little extreme... or is it? how many millions are working and still having to claim benefits? rely on food banks?
Here's another slice of madness for you:
Your bill is £100.00... you miss the payment because an urgent family matter came up... now your bill is £200.00 due to late fees, missed payment fees and going overdrawn.
Student Fees: were £3,000.00 a year... students couldn't always pay these back... they got written off to the "National Debt" (basically increase taxes) so their bright idea was to triple the fees to £9,000.00 a year... makes sense right:?
As a nation we bailed out our bnks... wait? did we get a vote or a say in that? democracy? seems more like a friendlier version of a dictatorship to me... 21st century and our voting system is 17th century
Interestingly enough... we can vote on Big Brother more than we are able to vote on what our government is up to.
Oh well... I, the un-intelligent, misinformed ranter am off to lose myself in a game... at least fantasy realms make sense.

Regards,
RM
